

No less than 15 km of "coastal path" offer superb views of the coastline.
Pink sandstone markers, erected by the Conseil Général des Côtes d'Armor on the Cape of Erquy, will help you find your way around the area in complete safety. They will help you to discover the Cape's natural and historical heritage.


16 circular signposted walks to help you explore the area's heritage and most beautiful landscapes.
Four loops of approximatively 10km (6miles) each criss-cross the coastal paths and country roads around Erquy: routes 'Bienassis/Saint Pabu, Lanruen, Cap d'Erquy and Saint-Michel tidal island'.
Illustrated leaflets with information on the local heritage and natural landscape will inspire your family walks.

Walks around the Cape of Erquy bring new surprises with every season: swimming in the limpid waters of the wild beaches... the silence of the countryside, broken only by the sound of the waves... lungfuls of fresh sea air and superb scenery all year round!

To call the emergency services and enable them to find your position on the Cap d'Erquy, dial 112 on your mobile and give the label colour and the number on the emergency marker nearest to you on the path.

A walk every Wednesday all year round from 2pm to 5pm: see calendar at the Tourist Information Office.
2 walks free of charge - membership of the Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre (French Ramblers' Association) required from the third attendance onwards. Starting from 9am during July and August - free of charge: see the Cap Armor programme.
There are 3 mountain bike rides of 15, 26 and 45 km marked with VTT 22 markers (red and yellow). These start at the Tourist Office.
A map of mountain bike trails is on sale at Tourist Office 2,50 €.
Organised mountain bike discovery rides, twice weekly in summer are part of the "Cap Armor" events.
*Mountain bikes are not permitted on the GR footpath.
You can join the members of the "Club Réginéen" for their weekly touring ride.
Departure at the "Office de Tourisme" : each Tuesday and Thursday at 2 pm during winter and at 9 am in summer, on Sunday at 8 am from May to August, at 8.30 in April and September, at 9am in Winter.
Trail running and hikes.

Every year, on the first week-end of May, the "Landes et Bruyères Trail" is held in Erquy.
Over 3 000 trail runners, hikers and kayakers participate to races between Cap Fréhel, Cap d'Erquy and the port of Erquy.
