The Bay of 'Erquy is an appreciated water activities area that offers an easy access, safe facilities and an exceptional scenery.
The Maison de la Mer
The Maison de la Mer is a modern watersports centre offering excellent, safe facilities.
Located by the harbour, two minutes from the restaurants and 800 metres from the town centre, it houses organisations which offer a range of watersports : a diving school, sailing school, the Saint Jeanne and the sailings clubs..
The launching slipway, with an almost permanent water level, provides fast and immediate access to teaching and sailing areas.
Diving
In the exceptional natural surroundings of the Cap d'Erquy, you can observe the subaquatic wildlife and see conger eels, lobster, wrasse, scallop and many other species…
The Erquy diving school offers introductory, teaching and exploratory dives tailored to every standard. Dives daily in July and August and weekends from March to October.
Disabled people can also be accommodated, please contact the School for details..

The Erquy sailing school offers a wide range of activities for everyone :
Dinghy sailing (optimist, twin, déclic, laser) for all abilities.
Introductory sessions for catamarans (KL 10,5 - 13,5 - Newcat F1- KL 15,5 - HC 18 Pacific).
Windsurfing (Tiga Bloma, Starboard : fur activities and easy access).
The Erquy sailing school offers courses to help you learn to sail successfully with a variety of packages:
Beginners and improvers courses (open to all, from age 7).
« Moussaillons » courses : exploring the marine environment through games for children aged 5 and 6.
Mini-rally in catamaran for adults.
Mercator group sailing vessel.
Facilities for people with reduced mobility.

Sea Canoeing
Nature, discovery, adventure… The Erquy Sailing School has a fleet of high performance sea canoes.
The different models are suitable for all standards and for all ages over 9 years.
It offers taster sessions, beginner and improvement courses and one- or two-day trips all year round.
Every year, the Erquy Sailing School organises the Merathon", a sea canoeing competition. In 2010, the Merathon will take place on Sunday 16th May .
