Sea Excursions

The port of Erquy is famous for scallop fishing. Its fleet is of about 80 trawlers.
A walk around the Auction building cannot be missed !

The port is also the boarding place for sea excursions on a traditional sailing ship around the Erquy Bay, or on a speedboat to the Island of Bréhat...

Sea excursions on board the Sainte-Jeanne

Get on board for a half-day excursion in Erquy Bay... it's such a pleasure to go where the wind takes you on board a traditional wooden sailing vessel.
A traditional 16 metre sailing boat, with 200m² of sails is a replica of a boat launched in 1912, the Sainte Jeanne is an example of the boats which made Erquy so successful, trading actively with the Channel ports.

Sea excursions take place every day in summer, and depending on the calendar from April to September.

Departure time from the port of Erquy : 8:30am, speedboat crossing : 75 mn. Free time on the island.
Departure time from Bréhat : 5:30pm, arrival in Erquy : approx. 7:00pm.

The dates followed by * mean the way back is by coach from the Pointe de l'Arcouest to Erquy .

2010 fares

adults : 31 €
children aged 4 to 11 : 22,50 €
children aged 0 to 3 : 5 €
Tickets on sale until the day before, subject to availability.
(Credit cards are not accepted).

Other than these dates,

Regular crossings to the Ile de Bréhat take 10 minutes, several times a day from the Pointe de l'Arcouest (near Paimpol which is 80 km away from Erquy).
