The port of Erquy is famous for scallop fishing. Its fleet is of about 80 trawlers.

The port is also the boarding place for sea excursions on a traditional sailing ship around the Erquy Bay, or on a speedboat to the Island of Bréhat...

Get on board for a half-day excursion in Erquy Bay... it's such a pleasure to go where the wind takes you on board a traditional wooden sailing vessel.
A traditional 16 metre sailing boat, with 200m² of sails is a replica of a boat launched in 1912, the Sainte Jeanne is an example of the boats which made Erquy so successful, trading actively with the Channel ports.
Sea excursions take place every day in summer, and depending on the calendar from April to September.

Regular crossings to the Ile de Bréhat take 10 minutes, several times a day from the Pointe de l'Arcouest (near Paimpol which is 80 km away from Erquy).
